Counting conundrums: I was talking to my 4yr old cousin who is starting big school next year and honestly was the cutest conversation ever. i asked him if he was excited and he was like “it goes for 7 hours and i have to go everyday, i don’t have time for that. and next year i’m gonna be 5 and

my niece is gonna be 3 and then she’s gonna be 4 and i’m gonna be 6 and then i’m gonna be 7 and she’s gonna be 5 and its just too much”. its so cute but thats not all cause then my sister started asking him math questions like whats 4+4 and he would count on our fingers etc. we started making a point that you can get to a number multiple ways like 6+6 is 12 but also 5+7 is 12, and then he goes “4 and 8” and we’re sitting there like oh my god he’s a genius and so we say “yes and what does that equal” and he responds “48” smh

Liar liar: Along the lines of cousins, we had a family get together on the weekend and my cousins and i decided to play imposter. If you don’t know the game essentially you pass around the phone and it’ll either tell you a word or say you’re the imposter. Now i can not lie, i think i’m very obvious

when i do lie. when we were playing i picked up that they’d accuse people of being the imposter when they were quiet so then in my round i was speaking and cause i got the word almost immediately it was very easy to blend in. Great game, it was much more fun when we went really out of the box to describe the word given, really threw off the imposter.

Bored? Right??: So like the other day i was working a 7h shift, half of it was the supervisor at the registers and the other was on the floor stocking shelves. and i walked into that shift absolutely not bothered and only really wanting to sit down the whole time. The only logical job i was bothered to do

was scrub the floors. so i sat down behind the register, on the floor, with a bottle of jiff and a

X-POSED TOMORROW?!: YEAH YOU’RE READING IT RIGHT IT’S TOMORROW. only just chose, finished and submitted my backing tracks today so tomorrow were gonna hear the songs through speakers for the first time and probably edit them all whilst everyone else sound checks. anyways last chance to buy tickets below

so what i have absolutely been obsessed with lately is minecraft youtube, more specifically watching the new hermitcraft season. i find like the building sounds so satisfying to listen to and to see how creative the people are using materials you wouldn’t think of to create details

in a build.

since i work 2 7h shifts a week i get a 30min lunch break and i'm sick of having subway every time i get a break. so i've started to find random microwavable meals, not like the boring standard meals but like some “build a burrito bowl in 5 mins” meals. i'm convinced i should just start a series reviewing food at work.

i'm really loving composing rn, last week i explained my plot for my string quartet song which is going really well but ive also done a modal jazz and a funk jazz piece recently and i think i've found my nack, they're such bops and genuinely surprise me when i listen to them cause i'm shocked i wrote that and thats always a great feeling.
