shes socialising?!: So on the weekend my village had their first ever youth gathering. out of the 120 people on the gc, 20-30 said theyll come, 14 showed up. 4 of us were girls the other 10 were guys. the moment we all walked in the guys all sat on one table and the girls on the other. Overall it was a

decent get together, its meant to unite our youth but i think we need to have like actual activities and also force us to talk with people of the other gender. However the funny thing was when i was speaking to the other girls we realised the reason we were all there was because our parents told us to go so that we could find a husband but the problem is that we were related to majority of them 💀

she has a goal?: I have a new goal. to learn the guitar properly. Branko played guitar with my track and now it sounds epic and i’m like wow i wish i could play it. so i’m gonna learn so i can play on more of my tracks although i don’t think i’m gonna start learning till after the trimester ends. i also feel like it just opens up so many more opportunities for music and gives my guitars a purpose other than looking pretty in my background.

shes got skillssss: I went back to swimming the other day, its been a year since i last went and before that it was since 2020 that i stopped training for competitive swimming. i havent lost my touch tho, i could still swim a 1km warm up in a respectable amount of time with no breaks however i dont think ill ever be getting back to the days where i was doing low 30s for 50m sprints. i still hold the 14yr girls 50m backstroke record for my old club tho so my claim to fame is still valid.

shes a bit delayed: This newsletter is being sent on a Thursday cause last night was the Cassette awards. It was a great night and so much fun to see all the talent in JMC. Congrats to all the nominees and winners, looking forward to hearing some great works.

is she cooking: For our final assignment for our Orchestration and Arranging unit we need to compose a string quartet piece that goes for a minimum of 2.5 mins. At first i was like i have no clue what i was doing so then i decided lets write a story out and then base the piece on that story. i am so excited for this project. Essentially the story is about how the quartet is always playing the same things over and over and its very traditional classical etc. Violin 1 is fed up with it and wants to add some pizzaz to the piece so they go off and start improving their own thing. the cello, violin 2 and viola get mad and start a whole argument with v1 and then the whole piece starts again but this time when v1 plays its not enthusiastic and they just drag out the notes and don’t put in effort so then vla and cello stop the piece and argue with v1 until v2 pipes up and says v1 has a point but we don’t have to entirely change our vibe so they join the two styles together and play in harmony at the end. the directions on the sheet music are gonna be so fun to read and if this ever is played live it definitely wont be boring.

i tried the zappo ropes the other day and may i tell you i love zappos but this was one of the worst things i have ever tried. i advise you not to waste your money on such horrid flavoured food, the texture and everything was just off.

my gym put in a reformer pilates room with screens that you just follow along to the video. guys i think im tempted to go to the gym everyday now ita actually so fun. maybe it was just the session i did that was easy but it just felt really nice, like a good stretch.

guys i just posted the most cursed tiktok on our work page... i advertised our christmas hams...with the peppa pig theme in the background...tbf its a great tiktok, our boss said it was ok so we’re good, maybe this is the next viral tiktok we make cause now everything after the pumpkin just looks pathetic
