Hello ducklings!

We love a breakdown - but not this kind: So on Monday my car broke down. yay. I dropped off my friend back at her house and bam. went to reverse my car and it just shuts off. We were like ok I just need a jump start so her mum came home and we jumpstarted the car. yay. I drove all of 5m before my car started making a noise like it was out of gear, so I decided to try and pull back into their driveway but then it stoped turning which meant I was broken down in the middle of the road. After some pushing later we left it in their driveway, I called up me father and then for the rest of the day we were buying parts and fixing my car. Turns out my alternator was broken which then made my battery die.

Driver - but not with my car: On Friday I helped out my village from Lebanon, aka the Blouza Association with their annual golf fundraiser. my whole job was to sit at the end of hole 3 (next to hole 7) with 3 esky's filled with either beer, soft drinks or water and hand them out along with chips,

chocolate and pizza, at least I had my cousin with me for company. 2 things I took away from this: 1) not many people in my village are good at golf - we nearly got hit 3 times, 2) a lot of people drink at 7:30 in the morning.

Fridays on a Saturday: I went to my first ever stadium concert last week, Fridays. Food was hectic, drinks were over priced, some people in the mosh were annoying af but I guess that's a concert. Jordin Sparks was amazing, Tinie Tempah I had not clue about any of the songs ngl. Eve I missed out

on cause I was getting food, upset I missed her set tho I have no clue who she was but worth it cause of food. Lil Jon, may I say great producer and good stage presence but also really only did ad libs the entire time. Wiz Khalifa definitely has his branding down pat, energetic performance, quite fun. Pitbull was the reason why we went in the first place, great performance tho I really couldn't see much cause of 6ft guys in front of us and because I was the tallest friend, I was tasked with taking the videos for my friend who's a massive Pitbull fan. Mariah Carey has pipes but unfortunately no stage presence whatsoever so it wasn't as entertaining to watch. overall not bad but I don’t think id go again unless its a greta lineup that I know.

in the thick of it: Tell me why my whole fyp on TikTok rn is about the HSC music 1 theory questions. they got so many modern songs like wth? we got Mongolian throat singing and they get Missy Eliot, Thick of it and Youngblood. why do exam markers not like us. anyways for all those reading and doing exams, good luck, don't stress cause I sure as hell didn't and now look who's newsletter you're reading.

Cassettes: Remember how last week I was like I have no clue if I actually qualify for this nomination, well I emailed them and turns out I do! So you're reading about the Nominee for the Cassette award in the category of Outstanding Instrumental Performance. The reason why I was worried was because the qualifications were vague and didn't specify if the instrument had to be recorded live or not - and I did not record my dramatic string arrangement live, as amazing as I am. Anyways you can sign up for tickets for the event and whilst you're there buy a t-shirt, it as all the nominees names on it and all proceeds go to support act:

X-POSED: I don’t get why you still haven’t gotten your exposed tickets you’re missing out on the future of music if you don’t go and tickets are under $25?!

Last week I told you about my fear of flowers, but do you know about my other 2 fears? Well one is called fykiaphobia which is the fear of seaweed and then my other fear is libraries which comes under library anxiety - I can’t stand being in a library. Ima try and explain these all next letter.

Guys I might’ve not done well in accelerated math but may I say I absolutely love serialism. Mainly just filling out the matrix for it but still it’s actually fun. The fact that notes are given numbers and you just work off multiple patterns of the numbers to make a song is actually really interesting. a lot of spinny wheel potential.

Thanks for going, BR3E

ps. feel free to comment on these newsletters with any book recommendations, places to visit, things to try or things you want my opinion on because I can be very opinionated.
