Hello ducklings!
Pegs: On the weekend, my band Gsus sung at a wedding and it was great. Anyways, for the reception, my friend Eddy and I decided to buy a pack of small wooden pegs and see who could clip the most pegs onto 2 of our band members throughout the night. After bending the rules to make it fairer, the score was 10-9 my way and on Eddy’s 10th peg she was caught in the act which meant I won. It was actually super fun, especially convincing them they were going insane when they found pegs on them. 100% recommend doing this if you wanna make something more exciting. Sorry Maz and Adrian, we love youuu.
Stickers: As majority of you know I work, and one of my favourite things to do at work is find products that are out of date, I don't know why it just feels satisfying to me. Anyways, well in the past week, I went a bit off the rails and collected 2 whole trollies worth of items that were past their date,
when this happens, we print reduced stickers with marked down prices and then stick them to the product to sell at a lower price. Those 2 trollies took me 3 hours of my shift to do. The printer overheated 4 times. It took 2½ rolls of sticker paper to get through it all. Whilst doing it, it gave me the idea of printing off the QR code to this emailing list onto stickers and just sticking them around places I frequent because that's the audience I’m relating to so I've been looking into that which I think is quite fun.
No Mor-man: Another thing that happened on the weekend is my sister forced me to go and watch the Book of Mormon with her because after she saw it she was like “Bree you have to watch this I’ll pay for your ticket please Bree”. Anyways so we went and I don't like musicals normally...this was
no exception. It had everything I don't like about musicals in it, “but that's the point Bree its to mock musicals they're doing it as a mockery” I don’t care they're still doing it and I don’t like it. I laughed a total about 3 times throughout the whole play, 2 of which were the same joke. The first act is the worst, it takes too long to go anywhere and legitimately was putting me to sleep. Second half was a bit better but I could've lived my life without seeing it and it wouldn't make a difference.
Opinion #1: Last week someone responded to my email for my opinion on whether a tennis ball is green or yellow. It is yellow. Stop asking. I will forever say it is yellow. It will never be green. at least we've had that argument face to face, like mature people. arguing through email is so childish don't you think?
Music: Guys my rap song is actually banger now. I was working with my lecturer and he helped me improve it. I have way too much tunnel vision on my songs currently and feel like I need a break to re-evaluate how they should all go but at the same time I need to get these done, although, I have rediscovered my motivation for them and am very excited to see how they end up. Another thing is last month I entered my songs into my uni awards night and one of them has been nominated for outstanding instrumental performance. However the criteria wasn't specific so now i’m like did I submit a song that actually doesn't fit in the category? Cause - i’m not saying I will but - if I win and it actually isn't what they wanted of the song it feels wrong to receive an award. Anyways I've emailed uni about it to clarify if my song actually does qualify or if they've made a mistake and we shall hear back soon.
X-POSED: Tickets are still on sale for X-POSED! Come see me and a bunch of talented creatives live on the 20/11! Buy tickets here, don’t be a goose ducklings
the reality of life: I don't usually talk about my family/life that doesn't relate to my music or feelings but this is gonna give some insight into my current situation. Unfortunately over the weekend my grandfather passed away. About a month ago he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he was
going really well but over the past week he declined rapidly. He went peacefully and is now in a better place. Thanks to everyone who has supported us during this time. A few things tho, please do not respond with your condolences, i’m not announcing this for pity and i’m too socially awkward to
respond to them how a normal person would. Another is, I am doing ok, I prepared myself for the inevitable before it came and yes, at moments it is a bit upsetting but overall I've actually been well and love reflecting on the memories together. Finally, from here on out I’ll be signing my emails off with thanks for going, to always have my Pop on my musical journey. My nan would always say “thanks for coming” and he'd always chime in and say “and thanks for going” so it feels fitting. Thanks for going Pop <3

this is back because I just had my first red bull on the weekend. the flavour was white peach and it was actually really nice, however I did only have like 10 sips cause I fell asleep so I don't think it really worked but that may be cause I didn't have
enough.

this week I've been working on my website and hopefully it will be public either late this week or some time next week. I'm trying to make it look aesthetic and on brand so expect a lot of beige, reds and blue, along with times new roman everywhere.

due to our current life situation a lot of people have been giving us flowers to say sorry, and as kind as it is, i’m not loving it. if you didn't know this about me I have a anthophobia (fear of flowers) and having them all over the house is not a fun time.
Thanks for going, BR3E
